Dr Francis Puccio

Francis works with a range of psychological difficulties/disorders and has a special interest in:

  • Sexual Disorders, including problematic sexual behaviours and hypersexuality (e.g., porn and sex "addiction")

  • Personality Disorders (for example, Borderline Personality Disorder)

  • Assessment reports (for example, pre-sentence reports, reports for risk assessment of sexual offending and violence), Personality assessment reports.


He also commonly works with individuals with:

  • Mood Disorders (for example, depression)

  • Anxiety

  • Relationship difficulties 

  • Difficulties managing emotions 

  • Eating Disorders

  • Posttraumatic Stress Disorder

  • Substance-Related and Addictive Disorders

In addition to working in private practice, Francis provides psychological assessments for the Children's Court of Victoria, and is employed by the University of Melbourne to conduct research in the field of Eating Disorders.

He has a down to earth, non-judgmental approach to psychological therapy. Francis uses evidence-based psychological therapies and believes that therapy is collaborative.
