Francis works with a range of psychological difficulties/disorders and has a special interest in:

  • Personality disorders (for example, borderline personality disorder)


He also commonly works with individuals with:

  • Mood Disorders (for example, depression)

  • Anxiety

  • Relationship difficulties 

  • Difficulties managing emotions 

  • Substance-Related and Addictive Disorders

In addition to working in private practice, Francis provides psychological assessments for the Children's Court of Victoria, and is employed by the University of Melbourne to conduct research in the field of Eating Disorders.

He has a down to earth, non-judgmental approach to psychological therapy. Francis uses evidence-based psychological therapies and believes that therapy is collaborative.

The fee for a 50-minute consultation is $200.

If you are eligible for a Mental Health Treatment Plan, after the Medicare rebate ($128.40) is applied, the gap payable per session (for up to 20 sessions per calendar year) is $71.60.
